The city of Kiel publishes its roadworks with place, reason and period. This card summarises one message; the tool shows them unabridged and finds a message by place – within 25 km, nearest first.
The operator of these secure lorry parks publishes their free spaces; ViaFrei shows them beside the rest areas, which publish no occupancy, and never adds the two together.
We give free spaces only where the operator publishes them – here every 15 minutes. If a value stays the same for six hours, ViaFrei says “last reported” instead of “free”.
These entries come from our database derived from “Trucklounge Ecopark”. We send the database we use publicly – without the entries the publisher marks confidential – as a machine-readable copy (CSV) under the ODbL 1.0, free of charge on request – contact details in the imprint.

Works with every Claude plan, according to Anthropic (Free: one custom connector). Adding a connector inside the app is still in beta, so the steps go through claude.ai in the browser.

What ViaFrei does not answer
So you don't look for what isn't there:
No door-to-door routing or journey planning — ViaFrei answers about places, roads and feeds, never “how do I get there”.
No city-street traffic beyond the city and Land feeds we carry: street works, closures and traffic messages for Berlin, Cologne (closures for events), Hannover (once its feed publishes), Schleswig-Holstein including Kiel, and Baden-Württemberg including Stuttgart. Other cities are not covered; elsewhere the live traffic we hold is the federal motorway network (Autobahn GmbH) and, where a feed carries them, federal roads, plus roadworks on Land roads in Baden-Württemberg, Lower Saxony, Saxony and Thuringia.
No fares, tickets or booking of any kind.
No punctuality figure for one named line — “is the S1 on time?” is answered train by train at a railway station (the live delay of each departing train, S-Bahn included) and per region with the line’s service alerts; a bus, tram or U-Bahn stop gets the timetable only.
No weather forecast — official DWD warnings only, and only while they are in force.
No parking tariffs, and no promise that a space is free unless the operator publishes occupancy.

Every answer names its source. These are all the sources ViaFrei answers from today, with the credit line their licence requires (in German, as written):

Privacy in three sentences
You need no account with us, and we keep no questions under your name. Third-party measurement runs only if you agree; nothing is loaded from third parties before that. We count visits without cookies, as daily totals on our own server. Server logs are deleted after seven days at the latest – everything else is in the privacy notice (German).
